Asphalt 5 from Gameloft now available on Android Market
Finally after some failed trials, gameloft managed it to fix the compatibility issues from their outstanding arcade racing game asphalt 5. they ported the iphone version successfully and providing us now a new level of highend mobile gaming. it costs around 10 dollars / 7 euros. screenshots (from iphone) below. Graphics on android are improved cause the game is using the higher resoloution.
Asphalt 5 is JUST compatible with droid, milestone, nexus, x10 and motoroi cause it needs very potent hardware. Other phones are not supported and if you try it on a lowend phone it maybe wont work. Have fun with the game and start your engines.

So i tried the game out. it’s fantastic! better than raging thunder 2, because i feel that it’s more realistic and easier controls… more of a typical racing game, with unlockable cars that are actually real, and the backgrounds/tracks are awesome…
yes its outstanding. but they have to optimize the performance a bit. on nexus one its nearly unplayable cause of the nexus weaker gpu. and on milestone / droid it lags sometimes too.
also the engine sound is messed up sometimes in the game.
